I am currently serving as a Computer Lab Manager with our Information Technology department, overseeing the instructional use computer labs. Previously, I held a Computer Lab position with UC Davis, my alma mater, in which I oversaw a multimedia distribution computer lab. I have dabbled in too many areas to count and been paid for it, including: baker, catering prep chef, astronomy teacher, Japanese tutor, and small animal lab technician.
UC Merced Staff Excellence Awards Committee (member)
UC Merced Staff Appreciation Week Committee (member)
UC Merced Staff Games Committee (member)
UC Merced First Fridays (volunteer)
Girl Scout Adult (volunteer)
UC Davis Astronomy Club ( past president and current volunteer)
NASA Night Sky Network (astronomy outreach volunteer)
For the past two years, I have served on a number of Staff Assembly committees. Through the Staff Excellence Awards Committee, I have helped to shape the awards process to be fair and unbiased so that the awards can be given to any excellent member of our staff, no matter what their position. As a member of the Staff Games Committee, I have helped to plan, organize, and enact our staff games during Staff Appreciation week. I have also made numerous suggestions and volunteered for various Staff Assembly endeavors throughout my years at UC Merced.
I have a great deal of experience in a variety of organizations leading and contributing to numerous events. During my time at UC Davis, I created, organized, and carried out many astronomy outreach events and field trips to bring science educational experiences to the Davis community. As a Computer Lab Manager at UC Davis and UC Merced, I have put together an annual three-day training event to train student employees in customer service, technology, and policies and procedures, ensuring the campus community receives prompt and thorough technology service support. As well as those specific events, I have years of volunteer experience with Girl Scouts, environmental organizations, and animal service organizations.

These experiences show that I am fully capable of planning, organizing, adjusting, and improving any events for Staff Assembly that serve the staff, campus community, and Merced community.
