Celebrate of the opening of the Downtown Campus Center by joining us for a community-wide ribbon-cutting. Each guest is welcome to participate in opening the center by cutting their very own section during this participatory landmark event. Tours of the first floor of the building will be given.
Located at the corner of 18th and N streets, directly across from the Merced Civic Center, the Downtown Campus Center will bring 300 UC Merced administrative staff to work, dine and shop in downtown Merced. The new building will create a substantial presence downtown, and provide further opportunities to integrate teaching, research and public service within the community.
In support of our new building being housed downtown - some of our neighboring restaurants will be offering Blue Ribbon menu specials. We encourage you to visit one of the participating restaurants and enjoy lunch downtown after the event concludes. Additional details will be distributed at the event.
