I currently monitor Bioengineering, Environmental Engineering and Materials Science Engineering faculty contracts and grants as well as the Dean's funding. This includes monitoring payroll or staff and students, purchasing authorization on grant and state funds, non-Pear of funds as necessary. I also help faculty in budgeting for grants and writing the budget justifications and summer salary computations on grants and start up funds.
I volunteer for Society of Research Administrator's International's conferences and and a co-chair for the Federal Demonstration Partnership's Conflict of Interest Sub Committee. I also volunteer for my church as the Lighting Lead and first step contact for volunteers. I also volunteer teach a group of teens and young adults, cooking skills every summer for 6 weeks.
I have participated in events, town halls and requests to join committees across the campus. I have not been selected to be on any panels yet.
I would bring previous event planning and catering expertise to the Staff Assembly.
