Provide a brief history of your work experience, beginning with your present position:

I currently work as an Administrative Coordinator for EH&S. I support the ergonomics program by coordinating appointments for the entire campus. I update and maintain the website for EHS and Risk services. I also provide assistance to Risk Services by tracking monthly workers compensation incidents and preparing OSHA reports.

List any UC, committee, community service, or other major volunteer commitments, including the name of the organization and your role (especially leadership roles) therein:

I have been actively involved in several organizations in our local community. I am currently on the board of directors of the Merced Symphony and serve as the current President of the Burbank Elementary School Site Council. My current role in helping guide their direction of growth is driven by passion to make a material difference in the life of others and more specifically, the young minds of our city.

In the past year, how have you played an active role in Staff Assembly? This can include committee work, participating in events, or attendance at Executive Board meetings:

I applied and was selected as a Mentee for the Career Advancement Mentorship Program which provided me with the opportunity to interact with a diverse group of individuals who have different perspectives and experiences in the field of higher education.

If you are selected to fill this role, what do you feel would be your contribution to the University of California, Merced, staff, and the Executive Board? How have your past experiences given you the knowledge and skills to provide this contribution?

I would be a great asset to the Staff Assembly Executive Board. I have hosted events where I was able to bring together people from different walks of life with in Merced. This year I was able to raise $2,500 for Merced Symphony through such an event. I would like to give back to the UC Merced community by being involved in activities and events that help with staff engagement that improve employee morale and overall well-being.
