Charge

Human Resources and Staff Assembly seek experienced staff to serve as Ambassadors for the Build Your Network program (BYN). The BYN program connects BYN participants with experienced staff members known as ambassadors and with campus and community experts in efforts to expand networking and learning opportunities. The role of ambassadors is to facilitate monthly group breakout sessions, network with staff and community members, and help build a community at UC Merced.

Timeframe

The BYN program is scheduled for the third Friday of each month from 9-11am. BYN sessions will be conducted remotely from now until further notice due to our “new normality” guidelines. Ambassadors will be expected to participate the third Friday of each month for the two-hour time frame. The first BYN session required for this new cohort is scheduled for Friday, September 18 from 9-11am, remotely via Zoom.
