I am currently the Business Officer/Assistant to the Police Chief. Before that I was the Travel Coordinator for the Campus. Prior to that I was an accountant in the Accounting Services where I processed camps recharges, helped departments with ledger review, processed all building leases, created and processed all catcard transactions, along with many other duties. Prior to that I was the Campus Cashiering Manager.
I currently sit on the search committee for the AVC/Controller & AVC Finance (combined search), Financial Officer for Staff Assembly, Treasurer for the Sierra Pacific Region of Soroptimist International of the Americas. I have held the following positions over the last 20 years: President of Soroptimist International of Merced, President of the Boys & Girls Club of Merced, Treasurer (board member on 3 different terms) on The Greater Merced Chamber, chair of many committees and fundraisers.
I am currently the Financial Officer.
I feel my past experience will help me to guide the Staff Assembly to continue the great work it is doing along with seeking out new ideas over coming challenges. I would be honored to be a voice for the non represented staff of UC Merced at the system wide CUCSA meetings.
