The Staff Assembly Scholarship for Employees' Dependent Children was initiated with a generous lead donation by a UC Merced founding staff member. We worked diligently to raise the remaining funds to fulfill the endowment, reaching our goal in 2009. Staff Assembly proudly presented our first scholarship to a UC Merced undergraduate student in academic year 2012-13. We continue to raise funds through events and donations to increase the value of our scholarship endowment with the hope of providing additional scholarships in the future. Dependent children of UC Merced employees attending UC Merced are eligible for the scholarship.
