The US Department of Education has proposed changes to the Title IX rules which will impact how schools respond to sexual harassment, which includes sexual assault.
The Office of the President (UCOP) has created a survey form for submitting feedback (link located on the flyer).
The deadline for submitting comments to UCOP is December 21, 2018. You can also submit comments directly to the Department of Education, until January 28, 2019 (link located on the flyer).
This will impact students, staff and faculty. Below are some of the provisions that could change UC's current processes (section numbers match those in the UCOP survey form):

The CARE office will collaborate with other campus partners to offer at least two information sessions in January 2019.
Participation is open to students, staff and faculty.
