Library Receives Gift of Spanish Literary Works

November 2, 2016

The UC Merced Library has received a collection of literary works of the contemporary Spanish poet and playwright Ana Rossetti.

The winner of several national literary awards, Rossetti is generally regarded as a transformative figure in the history of 20th- and 21st-century Spanish culture. The gift was facilitated by School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts Dean Jill Robbins.

The gift includes 49 books — many first editions — a collection of fashion magazines and some manuscript materials. All of the books have been cataloged and are discoverable in Melvyl.
